mouse strain B6.Cg-Tg(Ins1-EGFP)1Hara/J mouse strain A mouse strain that is genetically modified expressing Enhanced Green Fluorescent Protein (EGFP) under the control of the mouse insulin 1 promoter. Fluorescence is detected in tissues where insulin I is normally expressed; fluorescent protein expression in pancreatic beta-cells is evident from embryonic day (E)13.5 through adulthood. The fluorescence expression pattern is similar to the patterns seen in two other strains STOCK Tg(Ins1-Cerulean)24Hara/J and STOCK Tg(Ins1-DsRed*T4)32Hara/J.
