Ghrl{LCA} mouse ESC line A mouse ESC line in which the targeted gene, Ghrelin (NCBI Gene ID: 58991), has been modified (allele type: Cassette Acceptor) to targeted mutation (MGI ID: Ghrl{LCA}). ES cells were modified by homologous recombination to replace a 6.912 kb region of the Ghrelin (GHRL) gene from 2.7 kb upstream of exon 1 to 0.5 kb downstream of exon 5 with tandemly oriented lox71 and lox2272 sites as well as both positive and negative selectable markers.
