KG-1 KG-1 cell KG1 cell line was established by H.P. Koeffler and D. W. Golde. Bone marrow was drawn from a 59-year-old male white man with erythroleukemia which then developed into acute myeloid leukemia. KG1 cells are morphologically similar to acute myeloid leukemia and are characterized by pleomorphism, in which bone marrow mother cells and bone marrow cells are predominated. A few cells are mature granulocytes, and trace amounts of macrophages and eosinophils also exists. NICR673 Negative PN Passage at 1: 3, and passage once in 2-3 days.
