DLD-1 DLD-1 cell DLD-1 was one of the two strains of colorectal adenocarcinoma cell lines isolated by D.L. Dexter and his colleagues. DNA fingerprinting and karyotype analysis performed at ATCC and elsewhere showes that this cell line is similar to HCT-15 (CCL-225), suggesting that the two were different clones from the same person. Their genetic origins can be confirmed by DNA fingerprinting, but karyotype analysis shows that they lack a consistent change in chromosome markers or number. The cells was negative in CSAp(CSAP-)test.
