The AN3CA cell line was established in 1964. It is derived from the lymph node metastasis tissue of endometrial cancer patients, with the basic characteristics of cancer cells, capable of long-term subculture in vitro, producing obvious tumors when inoculated to experimental animals. However, the biological characteristics and ultrastructure of the cells have not been studied in depth, while only the melanocyte-stimulating hormone(MSH) of this cell line has been found to be negative. The cells are usually used in studies on the biology and related characteristics of human endometrial carcinoma cell line.
