Human Prostate Cancer Cells; LNCaP clone FGC [LNCaP.FGC] Human prostate cancer cell LNCaP clone FGC was isolated from the left clavicle lymph node needle biopsy of a 50-year-old white male (blood type B+) who was diagnosed with prostate cancer metastasis. This cell line responds to 5-α-dihydrotestosterone (growth regulator and acidic phosphate enzyme products). This cell does not form a uniform monolayer, but formed colonies, which could be broken by repeated blowing with a dropper during passage. They are only lightly adsorbed on the substrate and do not form a confluence, quickly making the medium sour. Growth is very slow. It should not be disturbed within 48 hours after passage. When the flask is packed, most of the cells are separated from the flask and suspended in the culture medium. After receiving, the cells are cultured for 24 to 48 hours under conditions in which monolayer cells are normally cultured, so as to be attached to the cells again.
