calculated blood CD8 cell count
blood CD45RC(high) CD8 T cell count to total CD8 T cell count ratio
2014-03-28T18:07:28Z
A calculated measurement in which the number of lymphocytes expressing both a relatively high amount of surface CD45RC antigen and surface CD8 antigen is divided by the total number of lymphocytes expressing surface CD8 antigen, and presented as a ratio, fraction, quotient or percentage. CD45RC, also known as the leukocyte common antigen, is the protein produced by the PTPRC (protein tyrosine phosphatase, receptor type, C) gene and has been shown to be an essential regulator of T- and B-cell antigen receptor signaling.
