Comprised of epithelium and anatomically located within the genital tubercle of male. From TS:25, as the genital tubercle becomes the penis and clitoris, the phallic urethra becomes the penile or clitoral urethra in male and females respectively. The phallic urethra is anatomically located within the genital tubercle and is surrounded by the tissue of the genital tubercle, therefore only the epithelial components are necessary parts of phallic urethra.
