Tundra is designated ET. Tundra climate appears as a temperature province in C. W. Thornthwaite's 1931 classification. Might need to add the Köppen climate classifications. Climate conditions might be obsoleted. Warmest month and mean temperature are operationally defined, will need to sort these out. Focusing on physical differential like surface cover would be preferable, (but maybe not practical).
