However, because Jensen and proponents often used this theory to argue scientifically racist thought, it became associated with the theory that Black persons are genetically mentally inferior to white persons, based on the results of IQ tests. Contemporary scientific consensus has shown that genetic factors do not explain IQ differences between socially constructed racial groups. It is also notable that a number of far-right and alt-right scholars and organizations continue to fuel Jensenist beliefs in the 21st century. One such organization, the Pioneer Fund, deemed a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, attempted to fund distribution of a Nazi propaganda film about eugenics in U.S. schools and churches.
