At the end of prophase, it abruptly translocates into the nucleus (Furuno et al. 1999 Down; Hagting et al. 1999 Down) and then associates with mitotic apparatus (Pines and Hunter 1991 Down; Hagting et al. 1998 Down; Clute and Pines 1999 Down).
