Note that this excludes vocalization, because in that case, it is not the qualities of the parts moved--but qualities of the air--that concretize the generically dependent continuant. This is separate from “gestural communication”. You can fist pump, signal touchdown, and throw up your hands in frustration when alone or otherwise not intending to communicate, and yet you have concretized a GDC and thus gestured.
