LC-NMR hyphenated systems separate a mixture into its pure components and couple the output to NMR for automatic sample analysis. The ever increasing need to measure lower sample amounts and lower level impurities demands the highest NMR sensitivity. Traditional LC-NMR systems with relatively large peak volumes are not optimized for such low levels of detection.
