external exposure facility Laboratory for Nuclear Calibrations (LNK) The Laboratory for Nuclear Calibrations (LNK) at SCK-CEN, a member of the EURAMET network and Designated Metrology Institute since 2012 and IAEA SSDL member, performs calibrations of dosimeters from research centres, nuclear power plants, industry and hospital radiotherapy departments. It offers gamma (Cs-137, Co-60), X-ray (10–300 kVp), beta (Sr-90/Y-90) and neutron (Cf-252, Am-Be) irradiators with various beam geometries, issuing approximately 500 irradiation certificates and 200 calibration certificates per year.
