external exposure facility CANAM infrastructure - Center of Accelerators and Nuclear Analytical Methods Paul Schofield website CANAM is a multi-user infrastructure at the Nuclear Physics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences providing access to a range of accelerator-based analytical and irradiation methods including neutron diffraction, small-angle neutron scattering, ion beam analysis and proton irradiation. The facility supports materials science, cultural heritage analysis, nuclear physics and radiation biology research from international users, with beam time allocated through a user office with an annual selection process.
