external exposure facility SSDL Neuherberg website The Secondary Standard Dosimetry Laboratory (SSDL) at Helmholtz Zentrum München in Neuherberg provides traceable calibration services for radiation protection instruments and dosimeters using gamma, X-ray and beta sources. It supports dosimetry research and the dissemination of calibration standards to hospitals, research institutions and industry in Germany.
