radiation epidemiology cohort EstChern Rahu K et al., J Radiol Prot 2015;35:R35-R45 EstChern is a cohort of Estonian Chernobyl cleanup workers ('liquidators') followed for cancer incidence and mortality, comprising individuals who participated in remediation work at the Chernobyl site between 1986 and 1991. Published results from the cohort have characterised the demographic and dosimetric characteristics of the Estonian liquidator population and provide a resource for pan-European comparative analyses of Chernobyl worker health effects.
