radiation epidemiology cohort ELFE ELFE (Étude Longitudinale Française depuis l'Enfance) is a major French longitudinal birth cohort following children from birth into adulthood to study the effects of environmental, social and family factors on health and development. While not exclusively a radiation cohort, it provides a large population-based resource for investigating childhood radiation exposure from natural and medical sources in conjunction with other health determinants.
