radiation epidemiology cohort Cohort of Exposed in Childhood in the Ural (CECU) Paul Schofield To be filled in soon The CECU cohort focuses on individuals who were exposed to ionising radiation from the Techa River contamination during childhood, enabling studies on the late health effects of childhood radiation exposure and comparison with in utero and adult exposure scenarios within the same contaminated population. It contributes to the comprehensive URCRM programme of epidemiological studies on the Techa River and Mayak-affected populations.
