radiation epidemiology cohort The ISE cohort http://www.dkfz.de Lilla et al., Breast Cancer Res Treat 2007:106(1), 143-150 Paul Schofield The ISE (Individual Sensitivity and Effects) cohort at DKFZ Heidelberg follows breast cancer patients treated with radiotherapy, collecting blood and tumour tissue samples to investigate predictive factors for late normal tissue complications including fibrosis, telangiectasia and lymphoedema following breast cancer radiotherapy. Ethical approval from the University of Heidelberg Medical Faculty ethics committee is required for access. The cohort contributes to understanding of individual radiosensitivity and genetic determinants of radiation response. Located at German Cancer Research Center Heidelberg.
