Another hypothesis by origne to this breed of cattle from the merger of the Chianina breed for at least 20 centuries of Tuscany and Umbria, with cattle lineage podolica imported during the invasions. The concept of “breed reported in geographic location by FAO National Coordinators” is unique to DAD-IS (https://www.fao.org/dad-is/en/).
