This VBO term should therefore be used specifically for the breed conforming to this concept. This strain was developed from strains B11, B22, B33 which were imported from the All-Russian Poultry Research and Technological Institute, Serghiyev Posad, Moscow region, Russia in 1974 and supplemented with white coloured progeny from crossing White Dwarf Strain and Rhode Island Red Strain 02.
