VBO:0010118 Lubelska Indigenous breed originated from primitive geese in the Lublin region of the south-eastern Poland. 328 individuals were bought in Horodyszcze, Rachanie and other villages in the southern Poland. The evaluation of health and exterior was done in 1973 and 1974. Included into the geese genetic resources in 1975 and evaluated in terms of reproduction and meat performance.
