Those horses were improved with different breeds, mostly with coldblooded breeds of Belgian coldblooded type. The breed is traditionally reared in Slovenia at Posavje region, mostly at Kr√Ö¬°ko polje and Bre√Ö¬æice region. The Posavinje horse is reared also in Croatia. The concept of “breed reported in geographic location by FAO National Coordinators” is unique to DAD-IS (https://www.fao.org/dad-is/en/).
