Until the end of first half of last century , this breed had been dominant in over and sub Shkodra areas. After 1965√¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s , especially 1970-80√¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s this breed submitted crosses with the imported Cigaja and Merino breeds. A part of population was crossed with other autochthonous breed √¢‚Ǩ≈ìBardhoka√¢‚Ǩ¬ù.
